Versatility Program
Program Overview and General Information
The Versatility Program is intended to acknowledge, showcase and reward our Scottish Collies who can demonstrate their versatility, intelligence, athleticism, biddability and ability to excel in the traditional working skills of the breed. It also aims to promote, encourage and celebrate the human-canine bond - something that collies and their people excel at!
The program works on a points system – dogs earn points by completing levels of training or competition in any of five different categories. A basic title may be completed by earning only five points in three different categories, and the titles become more challenging from there! It is designed to be merit-based and to avoid similarities to AKC-style conformation competitions in any way. You must be a member in good standing to participate in the program. Any dog who is registered in the SCPS database is eligible to earn points, titles and awards.

American Stock Dog Registry
We are excited to announce the Scottish Collie has been approved as an official breed with the American Stock Dog Registry. Effective January 2021, Scottish Collies can be double registered with the American Stock Dog Registry and be added to their breeders pages as well as compete in many of the dogs shows hosted throughout the USA and occasionally Canada & Europe.
This is a great opportunity for SCPS breeders to promote their collies and announce upcoming litters to the thousands of followers who are involved with the ASDR.
Their shows include training seminars, confirmation, agility, scentwork, herding, rally and obedience. Scottish Collies who participate in these events also will also be eligible for SCPS versatility awards.
We are excited to be approved as a recognized breed with their registry and hope you will take advantage of the many opportunities this partnership will provide. Your collie must be registered with SCPS to participate.

Steffi Trott, is a world renowned trainer originally from Germany who currently resides in the United States. Her courses offer modern, positive, science-based training techniques that are proven to provide effective results and build a stronger relationship with your canines.
